My hubby and I decided to treat ourselves to a weekend getaway in the worlds most exciting city New York and we chose to stay at the landmark Trump International Hotel.
The location is ideal, across from Central Park and a few blocks away from the famed Rockefeller Centre, Time Warner Centre and my favourite shopping area, 5th Avenue.
Our luxurious suite in the sky had all the deluxe amenities one would expect from a hotel of this caliber, a sub-zero kitchen, a central remote that controlled the curtains, lights, and the flat-screen TV with just a flick of the button. Soothing icy greys, a crystal chandelier over the dining table, and fresh flowers decorated the room.
The view of the New York City skyline during the day was pretty awesome, and at night with a million shimmering lights outside, very romantic. After a day of walking and shopping in the pulsating streets of New York and the legendary 5th Avenue - which reminded me of the Champs Elyseés in Paris - we were real happy to come back home to our hotel and just hang out in our room and order room service.
After dinner, we could not wait to cuddle up in our inviting bed. It was the most comfortable bed I have slept in any hotel and I must say we had the best sleep ever. I attribute this to the luxurious Trump Mattress. Hands down, the best mattress in the world! We decided on the flight home we would be purchasing one immediately. I suggest all newlyweds get one too - but hey, why not try this yourself? A weekend getaway to The Big Apple, and a stay at the Trump International Hotel New York, is a sure-fire way to keep the sparks aflame.
